Chime called on the Excel Brand Marketing team to support their new “Chime in for Changemakers” campaign, which was a program that recognized and rewarded those who have gone above and beyond in their local communities across America.

The initiative encouraged community members to nominate someone who is making an impact in their respective community, and deserving of $10,000 on behalf of the team at Chime.

Who better to spread the word about this program than some of the most influential athletes on social media, with ties to their key local markets? The Brand Marketing team procured 10 athletes including CJ McCollum, DeAndre Jordan, and DeMarcus Cousins to share messaging on their Instagram accounts. The results of the campaign? The social posts reached over 21.3 million users across Instagram and garnered 930,000+ total engagements. #exceling
