We have a knack for organizing some of golf’s most exciting events including The Match and The Payne’s Valley Cup. We’ve also made a commitment to advancing women’s golf through organizing The Rose Ladies Series and launching a Women’s Golf Division. Our Events and Hospitality teams are back at it, bringing the inaugural Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G to Kenwood Country Club in Cincinnati, OH.

The announcement was made today at a press conference featuring LPGA Commissioner Mollie Marcoux Samaan, Hall of Famer Nancy Lopez and Lexi Thompson, 11-time LPGA tour champion, along with executives from The Kroger Co., The Procter & Gamble Company and members of The First Tee of Cincinnati.

The best LPGA golfers in the world will tee off September 5-11, 2022 and compete for their share of a $1.75 million dollar purse. The event will air live on the Golf Channel and be distributed to golf fans globally. Fans onsite will be treated to an all-around memorable event between the lineup of golfers and engaging hospitality areas behind the ropes.

We are particularly excited to work with Kroger, P&G and the LPGA to build on their long-standing commitments to empower diverse women leaders both within their organizations and in the broader community. Together, the organizations will host a unique opportunity for more than 100 local women to enhance their leadership skills and expand their networks through multiple workshops. Details about the program will be announced in the coming months.

Our Events & Hospitality team is excited to bring the LPGA back to the city of Cincinnati and we’re ready to hit the ground running in year one!

“The Cincinnati community shows an unmatched passion for its hometown teams and sporting events. Our goal is to create a really special experience for this fanbase and make this world-class golf tournament a must-attend event on the Cincinnati calendar.”
