Excel has built The Match franchise into must-see-TV highlighted by unprecedented access to some of the biggest names in sports as they go head-to-head on the golf course. The third iteration of the event, The Match: Champions for Change, was no different, pairing Peyton Manning with Stephen Curry and Phil Mickelson with Charles Barkley for a round of match play at Stone Canyon Golf Club in Arizona.

The Match events have also served as an incredibly impactful platform for various charities and social causes. The Match: Champions for Change was specifically focused on highlighting Historically Black Colleges & Universities, and raised more than $6.4 million for 20 different HBCUs. Additionally, 4 million meals were donated through Feeding America to help fight the increase in food insecurity brought on by the global pandemic.

In May, the Excel team hosted The Match: Champions for Charity and helped raise over $20 million for COVID-19 relief. The event ended up being the most-watched golf telecast in the history of cable television! #exceling
