Consistently ranked as one of the fittest cities in America, Minneapolis hangs their hat (and running shoes) on being a city that embraces health and wellness. The Minnesota Timberwolves donned the Fitbit logo on their jerseys starting in 2017, but when it was time to seek a new partner for the asset, the organization tapped our Properties division for the job.

After repeatedly telling the health and wellness story, it led to discussions about what health and wellness really means. While we think of ‘wellness’ as the state of being in good physical health, wellness also applies to our overall safety.

Insert Aura. Aura provides identity theft and fraud protection for finances and personal information. Our Properties team worked with Aura to develop a narrative around digital wellness – establishing ways to educate consumers to care for their personal information that lives online the they do their bodies.

Through a partnership with the Timberwolves, Aura will leverage the exposure and access to top NBA talent to promote digital wellness in the Minneapolis community and beyond. Aura’s logo will appear on the Timberwolves jersey starting in the 2021-22 season.
