We are incredibly excited to be part of two big initiatives aimed at advancing women’s golf around the world.

Last year, golf was at the forefront of the sports restart after COVID-19 shut down the entire industry.  PGA Tour pro Justin Rose felt such relief to return to the game he loved, but couldn’t help but notice that professional women in his home country of England and across the United Kingdom did not have the same opportunity.  Their season was not slated to start until mid-summer. Thus launched the Rose Ladies Series, created alongside his wife Kate, which featured seven-one day tournaments and a three-day grand finale throughout June and July.

Kate and Justin are once again providing increased opportunity for women to pursue their dreams with a second season of the Rose Ladies Series, and it was just announced that the event at JCB Golf & Country Club on August 5th has been designated a pre-qualifying tournament for the AIG Women’s Open at Carnoustie as part of a revised format announced by the R&A, the organizers of the Open.

In addition to the Rose Ladies Series news, we at Excel have also doubled-down on our promise to help grow the women’s game with a commitment to the R&A Women in Golf Charter, joining an industry-wide effort to develop a more inclusive culture within golf around the world and enable more women and girls to flourish and maximize their potential at all levels of the sport.  In continuation of our Women’s Golf division announced last year, we will look to create an impact through elite representation, cross-promotional opportunities, support for client efforts and recruitment and hiring practices. #exceling
