One of the most highly touted quarterbacks in the 2020 NFL Draft class selected Excel for strategic guidance and endorsement portfolio development as he set out on his professional career.

Justin Herbert’s official entry into the NFL was a little different than he had pictured it when the league was forced to hold the first ever virtual draft. While the global pandemic kept draftees at home instead of on the Vegas strip, players spent quality time with family ahead of hearing their names called by Commissioner Goodell from his basement.

While Herbert remains calm, cool and collected both on and off the field, he opened up during pre-draft media interviews with ESPN’s Hang Time and The New York Times, showcasing his personality and passion for the game. See for yourself: Justin Herbert takes out his rage by smashing things.

Herbert also got his first taste of a marketing deal ahead of draft night… quite literally. Chipotle catered his draft party at home and he kicked off an ongoing relationship with the brand that night. Flag & Anthem outfitted him and his brothers and he joined #TeamBose2020 as part of other NFL draft deals.

Without further ado…

With the sixth pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Chargers select Justin Herbert, quarterback from the University of Oregon. #exceling
