Erin Kane Joins Excel to Grow Women’s Sports Representation Business

Our commitment to elevating women and expanding the playing field is an integral part of our game plan.

Veteran agent Erin Kane has joined Excel as Vice President, Women’s Sports, strengthening our women’s sports representation business. Her roster features world-class talent including Olympic gold medalist and WNBA All-Star Elena Delle Donne, softball icon Jennie Finch and World Champion Big Wave Surfer Maya Gabeira. They will join our existing clients across LPGA, Speakers Media Talent and NIL.

Kane is a leader in the industry and has long been a fierce voice for the equalization of professional women’s sports.  She brings over 15 years’ experience to Excel as the founder of The Clarion Agency, which she launched with the sole focus of representing women’s sports after working across the industry for clients in the NBA, WNBA, PGA, NASCAR and softball. Prior to launching The Clarion Agency, Kane also launched a WNBA practice at another major agency.

In addition to Kane, our SVP of Marketing, Colleen Garrity will take a direct role in the strategic growth of our women’s sports representation while continuing her work with NBA clients.

Kane’s clients also include:

  • Ari Chambers – Broadcast Personality
  • Napheesa Collier – Minnesota Lynx
    • 2019 WNBA Rookie of the Year and 2x WNBA All-Star
  • Zia Cooke – University of South Carolina women’s basketball
  • Arike Ogunbowale – Dallas Wings
    • 2020 WNBA Scoring Champion and 2021 WNBA All-Star Game MVP
  • Annie Park – LPGA Tour
    • 2019 Solheim Cup Team USA member and NCAA Champion (2013)
  • Kristi Toliver – Los Angeles Sparks
    • 3x WNBA All Star and 2x WNBA Champion

These clients join Excel’s existing roster of women across multiple talent representation areas. Our Women’s Golf division was launched in 2020 and features Michelle Wie West and Albane Valenzuela among others. Media Talent clients include Holly Rowe and Lisa Byington, the first woman to become a play-by-play announcer for men’s professional sports team. Our Speakers division represents a number of high-profile women and we manage the marketing portfolio for Peloton instructor Jess Sims in addition to UConn women’s basketball players Chrystin Williams and Caroline Ducharme.

As we continue to work with women talent across the sports landscape – those who are breaking barriers and records in the industry – we’re excited to bring these women together to be part of something special at Excel. #exceling
