Jared Schoenfeld, Vice President of Content Partnerships and New Business, joins Excel with an important goal in mind: create authentic storytelling opportunities for brands that not only amplify their brand messaging and help drive their business objectives but also create true impact.

Jared will work with each of the various divisions across the agency to align talent, properties, and brand marketing clients with branded content opportunities.  In addition, he will also work with brands to align their priorities with the appropriate content properties and look to create rich purpose-led stories.

Jared brings a passion for creating meaningful connections on behalf of brands and talent, recognizing the impression that powerful storytelling content can make. Over the course of the last year, brands and talent have used content to drive change and spotlight topics including self-care and social justice, a trend that will only continue.

Prior to Excel, Jared served as Vice President, Head of Brand Partnerships at The Players’ Tribune (TPT). During his time there, Jared used the branded content model to help brands amplify their messaging by strategically aligning with talent who were looking to tell stories in a creative and unique way. One example of a branded content partnership Jared helped spearhead was an 8-Part series called “Mentors and Mutuality” with MassMutual where eight athletes across various sports sat down with their mentor and discussed how they significantly impacted their lives. This campaign amplified MassMutual’s brand campaign, targeted important audiences for them and gave the athletes a platform to express themselves while inspiring others. Check it out here.
