Three-time All-American wrestler, LGBTQ rights advocate and founder of Athlete Ally, Hudson Taylor, joined us for a conversation on the importance of allyship and equality in and out of the locker room.

Hudson composed a historic wrestling career at the University of Maryland prior to his coaching position at Columbia University. Hudson’s unparalleled work ethic is now devoted to helping others by encouraging communities to exercise their leadership to eliminate homophobia and transphobia in sports. Hudson and his team at Athlete Ally cultivate a community that supports equal access to opportunities and experiences in sports, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

Athlete Ally has worked with over 300 colleges and major sports properties including the National Basketball Association to educate and empower athletes and organization employees. Hudson and his team of ambassadors aim to represent the LGBTQ community through inclusion trainings that deliver the message that ‘equality is a team sport.’
